St. Louis Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).  The institution achieved accredited status in 1977 and has maintained good standing throughout the period of its accreditation. St. Louis Christian College was granted candidacy status in 1974, accreditation status in 1977, and was reaffirmed in 1998 and 2010. Member colleges of ABHE are also recognized by CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation), the national accrediting organization that serves as an umbrella over all the recognized accrediting bodies, including the regional associations.

ABHE is also listed by the United States Department of Education as a recognized agency for biblical higher education. The Association’s member institutions are recognized by the Department of Justice, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other relevant federal agencies in the United States.

Finally, ABHE is recognized by the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education, the theological education affiliate of the World Evangelical Alliance.
