What I love about the St. Louis metropolitan area
“Being from Southern Illinois, it was always exciting to make a trip to St. Louis because that was where there was something fun to do. We have frequently gone to St. Louis Cardinals games, the Six Flags amusement park, the Magic House, and the St. Louis Zoo. But most importantly now, we love to come to St. Louis to visit with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, who live in Crestwood.”

“Professor Phillips makes every class exciting because he shares the meaning of the text from the original languages of the Bible. He then explains it in such a way that causes the student to commit to a more intense study of the Word of God. Professor Phillips inspirers students to become workman “who have no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15).

“Studying Greek with Doug has been very challenging and beneficial to me.  It has opened me up to a new language and changed my way of thinking about the biblical text.”
